Dear God

Dear God

IF JESUS CAME TO YOUR HOUSE

Would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in? Or hide some magazines, and put the Bible where they'd been? Would you hide your wordly music and put some hymn books out? Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about? And I wonder...if the Savior spent a day or two with you, Would you go right on doing, the things that you always do? Would you go right on saying, the things that you always say? Or would life for you continue as it does from day to day? Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go? Or would you maybe change your plans for just a day or so? Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends? Or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends? Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on? Or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone? It might be interesting to know, the things that you would do, If Jesus came in person, to spend some time with you. Thank you June just love this one!~

DEAR GOD<P>

A Way To End The Day!!! Hello God, I called tonight To talk a little while..       I need a friend who'll listen       To my anxiety and trial... You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own...       I need your love to guide me,       So I'll never feel alone. I want to ask you please to keep, My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence, For whatever fate they're bound. Give me faith, dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day,       And not to worry over things       I can't change in any way. I thank you God, for being home   And listening to my call,       For giving me such good advice       When I stumble and fall. Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time.I never get a busy signal,Never had to pay a dime. So thank you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow.     Good night, God, I love You, too,     And I'll call again tomorrow! ~AUTHOR UNKNOWN

Virgin

A ten-year-old, under the tutelage of her grandmother, was becoming quite knowledgeable about the Bible. One day she floored her grandmother by asking, "Which Virgin was the mother of Jesus: the Virgin Mary or the King James Virgin?"

***JUST CALL HER MOMMY***

"Among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you." "But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile, that's enough for me to be happy." "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy." "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, if I don't know the language that men talk?" "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak." "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray." "I've heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?" "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life." "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." "Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be heard. And the child in a hurry asked softly: "Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name." "Your angel's name is of no importance, you will call your angel: ""Mommy""

***MEETING GOD***

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack OF root beer and he started his journey. When he had gone about 3 blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Once again she smiled at him.The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but theynever saying a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him the biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." Before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!" Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God."But before her son responded, she added,"You know, he is much younger than I expected."
